Sanesco invests considerable resources to ongoing research. Keeping centered on the CSM model, the company focuses research primarily on the function of HP (hypothalamic-pituitary) and HPA (hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal) axes—systems that are critical to all metabolic function. During initial development of the model, Sanesco undertook a clinical study that was designed to quantify the effectiveness of its formulas on patients reporting a broad spectrum of symptoms. The results of that study were used to guide the development of the functional assessments and Targeted Nutritional Therapy (TNT) formulas that Sanesco currently offers.

Looking to the future, research and development teams are Focused on the HPT (hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid) axis. This effort will broaden the knowledge of the Communication System and lead to the development of the next level of therapeutic options within the CSM model.
