Sanesco 2011 Neuro-Endocrine Webinar Series Each webinar in the neuro-endocrine series demonstrates new, insightful, and practical applications of the CSM protocols to assess, monitor, and correct neurotransmitter imbalances associated with chronic symptoms. As an attendee you get live audio and dynamic clinical slides presented to you via an internet connection, and participation in a wrap up Q&A session. Every webinar presentation is researched and prepared to address the most relevant symptoms and conditions that integrative practitioners are facing today. The presentations are authored and presented by active practitioners who are noted by their colleagues as experts in the topics discussed, and are experienced lecturers. These practitioners are devoting their time to share their expertise, and to teach you about the success they have achieved using the CSM clinical model in their own practice. Sanesco’s Neuro-Endocrine Webinar Series is available to active practitioners, and is inclusive to the Communication System Management Training Program curriculum. April 19, 2011 – Presented by Sharon Norling, MD, MBA ![]() Balancing HPA-T Axis Function as an Effective Adjunct Approach to Managing Menopause (Click Here to View Recording) Advancement in recent years for balancing hormone levels bio-identically, and natural therapies for managing menopausal symptoms, have provided practitioners with effective means for practicing individualized medicine. An important aspect often overlooked in managing menopausal symptoms is the neurotransmitter-hormone interactions. Sex hormones affect neurotransmitter levels, which can lead to imbalanced HPA-T axis function, which plays a key role in the symptoms presented during menopause – low libido, mood swings, disrupted sleep, increased fatigue, and emotional disturbances. Dr Norling will be presenting a whole health clinical approach for managing menopausal symptoms that incorporates balancing of HPA axis function. Attend this presentation to will learn how to apply the CSM clinical model (independently and as an adjunct to HRT) for a more effective integrative approach to managing your patients through menopause. June 8, 2011 – Presented by R.W. Watkins, MD, MPH, FAAFP A Neuro-Endocrine Approach to Managing Depression and Anxiety: Functional Testing and Nutraceutical Therapy Provides Options to Pharmaceutical Treatment(Click Here to view recording) In a given year, approximately 20.9 million American adults (about 9.5% of the U.S. population age 18 or older) suffer from a mood disorder that is characterized by major depression, dysthymia, and bipolar disorder. However, since depressive disorders often occur with anxiety and substance abuse, the incidence of mood disorders increases to approximately 40 million American adults affected. Until recently, the primary combatant for managing these disorders has been treatment with SSRIs and other pharmaceuticals, with usage of antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs rising from 7% to 30% from 2008 to 2009 alone. This webinar presentation will delve into the assessment of key neurotransmitters associated with prevalent mood disorders, identify positive and negative response to pharmacologic treatment, and provide a review of clinical outcome to demonstrate how applying the CSM clinical model can allow many patients to either get off the drugs they have been taking, or at least moderate the dose and decrease side-effects the drugs may be having on them. |
Our expertise lies in understanding HPA-T axis function, and the role it plays in the body’s "Communication System" as a root cause of your patients’ conditions. We developed a unique clinical model applying this expertise to help you improve your patient’s health, and even help grow your practice.
“Communication System Management” (CSM)
There are 3 synergistic components to the model, with easy to follow protocols that include non-invasive measurement of neurotransmitters and adrenal hormones, and non-drug therapeutic recommendations.
